Ladies and Gentlemen, I’d like to welcome you to Max@Play! Home of reviews for real people that actually live life. This site is currently dedicated to video game players and movie watchers. No one likes to waste their time, money, or effort on a game or movie that sucks. On the same note if a game is awesome and worth spending your hard earned money for it we want you to know it. If a movie is a real blockbuster movie and not a media hyped piece of trash we want you to know. Since Max@Play is ran by real people, with real 9 to 5 jobs, we cater to anyone that works hard and wants to enjoy life. So sit back, relax, and Welcome to Max@Play.

Why Max@Play?

Since the release of Max@Play.com people have been asking me how I came up with the name and its meaning. Well Max@Play isn’t just a name. It’s what I do and who I am.

When I was first introduced to the internet in 1997 my friends advised me to create an alias for the online community. I chose Max Bane. At the time I believed I was sort of a rebel so I considered myself a bane to anyone that got in my way, yeah I know...but hey I was in high school. Though the idea of me being a bane to society has changed, what hasn’t is my belief in putting forth my “Maximum” potential which is why I adopted the name Max.

Now that I have explained the Max part of my name lets go on to the @Play portion. Being at play doesn’t mean that I’m always silly (though sometimes I am) it means I’m always upbeat and energetic. I take pleasure in having fun and being myself in all that I do. There are often times when I ask myself if I’m getting a charge out of what I am doing.name tag If the answer is no then why do it. So I try to make everything an adventure. Even the most mundane task can be made fun with the right bit of creativity added. Whether it’s gaming, or working for a client (which I take very seriously) I’m enjoying myself or being at play. Therefore I chose the name Max@Play.

This site reflects everything I enjoy and consider fun: gaming, photography, web/graphic design, family, and friends. So, on that note I’d like to once again welcome you into my world by welcoming you to Max@Play.com
